KPFZ 88.1 fm Launches New Educational Series on
the New Wine Country of Northern California
The "Elixir of Lake County: the New Wine Country of Northern California" is a new interview series with winegrowers, winemakers and other vintners. The series was introduced by on July 10, 2013 - 2-3 pm (Pacific) by Debra Sommerfield, President of the Lake County Winegrape Commission and former Deputy Chief Administrative Officer for Economic Development.
The series is produced and hosted by Taira St. John on the Taira St. John Show on alternate Wednesdays at 2:00 -3:00 pm, and is anticipated to be broadcast 2-3 times a month through June 2014. Shows with topics complementary to those of the wine industry will fill other programming throughout the year. The shows will be replayed on the Mondays following the initial broadcast, and all audiocasts will be posted on this website for later listening or download. Go to Elixir Audio Site:
